Performances

Performing music is a fundamental and important part of any musician’s journey. Urmi’s students have been performing at various community events and shows, in addition to UrmiMusic's annual winter and summer showcases.


UrmiMusic showcases two programs annually, TARANA and JHANKAAR.

TARANA

UrmiMusic's annual summer program "TARANA" is a cultural presentation featuring a variety of songs from traditional to contemporary Indian tunes, classical compositions, folk songs, and Bollywood numbers accompanied by live traditional Indian instruments.

VIEW PAST PERFORMANCES

JHANKAAR

UrmiMusic’s annual winter program "JHANKAAR" showcases solo performances by the students of Urmi Battu. Students perform a wide variety of songs ranging from traditional to contemporary Indian tunes, sweet melodies of the past, to the racy beats of modern Bollywood hits.
